Sample Itinerary for Vacation to Sicily

Day 1

Arrive at Palermo airport. A driver will meet you outside of customs to transport you to your hotel in central Palermo.

Day 2

Walking tour of central Palermo. The guide will meet you at your hotel for a half day tour of the main sites of central Palermo.

Day 3

Take the train for a day trip to the beaches of Cefalu. Return in evening to Palermo.

Day 4

Day to stroll around Palermo on your own.

Day 5

Return to Palermo airport (the hotel will arrange the driver) to pick up your rental car. Drive to the agriturismo near Erice.

Day 6

Day trip to Trapani and Marsala.

Day 7

Drive to Agrigento. Your hotel is very near the temples at Agrigento.

Day 8

Meet your tour guide outside of the temples for a 3 hour tour.

Day 9

Drive to Siracusa. Your hotel is in central Siracusa on the island of Ortigia.

Day 10

Tour to Noto and Ragusa. Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel for a tour, including lunch, of these two lovely Sicilian towns.

Day 11

Drive to Taromina. Your hotel is in the upper part of town with a stunning view of the sea.

Day 12

Spend the day wandering around Taromina and visiting the public beach.

Day 13

Drive to Catania airport for departure home.
