Sample Itinerary for Italy Food & Wine Vacation

Day 1

Arrive at Venice airport. Take the Alilaguna boat to your hotel.

Day 3

Pick up rental car at EuropCar in Piazzale Roma. Drive to the villa in Tuscany. See map and driving directions (from Florence) in packet.

Day 4

The Villa has arranged a cooking class - the chef will arrive at 9am. The class will end in the afternoon with lunch with wine.

Day 6

Winery tour - see confirmation in packet. The tour will include the estate, winery, lunch and tastings.

Day 8

Day trip to Florence - the guide will meet you at the designated location on your confirmation for a tour of Florence including the Duomo, central Florence and Accademia Museum.

Day 9

Depart villa and drive to La Spezia to return the car. Take the train to Monterosso.

Day 10

Hiking the trails of Cinque Terre. See map and information in packet.

Day 14

Train to Milan for overnight stay.

Day 15

Departure from Milan airport.

We share with you our experiences and ideas and then develop an Italy vacation itinerary that specifically meets your needs. There is no “template” or tour that we are trying to make you fit into…the trip is yours to plan and then we do the rest!
